Job Description:
EP Heritage Development is seeking a licensed Architect with strong project management skills to join our team. This is an in‑house role based in El Paso, TX, with flexibility for remote work as needed. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage architectural design projects from conception through completion, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural design projects from initial planning through project completion.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design and project requirements are met.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient execution and delivery.
- Prepare and review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, maintaining design vision and alignment with construction processes.
- Participate in the selection of contractors and subcontractors for each project phase.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to architectural design and project goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the architectural team and other stakeholders.
- Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and key paperwork.
- Conduct site visits to verify that work aligns with architectural design intent.
- Monitor project performance and implement adjustments as necessary to satisfy stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in architecture, including project management.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and project management processes.
- Proven experience managing all project phases: design, permitting, construction, and completion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar architectural software.
- Familiarity with Texas building codes, zoning regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED accreditation or other relevant certifications.
- Experience across various project types (commercial, residential, industrial, etc.).
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, or other project management tools.
