Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Residential Leasing Agent to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leasing apartments, providing prospective residents with an outstanding leasing experience, and maintaining high occupancy rates. The ideal candidate will have experience with a new property lease-up, be personable, highly communicative, detail-oriented, and motivated to achieve leasing goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents, highlighting community features and available units.
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Guide prospective tenants through the application and leasing process, from screening through lease signing.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of available units, lease terms, and community policies.
- Assist with resident retention efforts, including organizing community events and addressing resident concerns.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a seamless move-in process.
- Utilize marketing and social media tools to promote the community and generate leads.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of lease agreements and resident information.
- Stay informed about local rental market trends and competing properties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or real estate preferred.
- Experience with new property lease-up is highly desired.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and leasing/property management software is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work some weekends and evenings as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in real estate or business is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience, plus bonuses for each new lease signed.
