No Ordinary Moments
Huntington, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 2/7/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 4/6/2025

No Ordinary Moments is a strong, solid company with more than 23 years in existence. Currently there are over 550 employees and more than one third of them have been with us a minimum of 5 years. Many have been with No Ordinary Moments for more than 10 years. We strive to be outstanding in every area and to do the best we can for the consumers and the staff.

No Ordinary Moments is always opened to interviewing those who have the desire to work with the developmentally disabled. Truth be told, the people we serve have very challenging behavioral issues and/or serious medical issues. The work can be very difficult and may include working with people who can become violent, who often exhibit a great deal of self-injurious behavior, who can be very resistant to supervision and who exhibit a very high frequency of very difficult behaviors. Despite the difficulty the great majority of the staff will tell you that this is the best job they have ever had and by far, the most rewarding.

We require that staff be enthusiastic, committed, motivated to learn, willing to follow the rules, policies, and procedures that No Ordinary Moments sets forth and who are open to working with a wide variety of consumers in many different situations. Those with a high tolerance for deviance and a low tolerance for boredom are a huge plus!

If you have previous work experience serving the developmentally disabled and possess the traits listed above, we want to meet you. If you have no experience but do possess the character qualities, we require and if you have a strong desire to dive into this field of work knowing that it can be like no other job you have had in the past then please apply or stop by our office and complete your application there.

We operate 24 hours a day, all year. We typically are in need of full and part time Personal Attendants, days, evenings and nights.
