IT/Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT/Support Specialist capable of providing top-notch service to our high school, college, and NBA customers. The ideal candidate is tech savvy and has experience troubleshooting computer and networking problems. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, Zoom, or TeamViewer
• Prepare computer hardware for deployment by installing RAM, hard drives, and operating systems
• Monitor deployed hardware for failures and quickly resolve problems as they arise
• Identify problem trends and escalate issues as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, MIS, technology or related field
• Previous Help Desk or support technician experience
• Experience using and supporting Windows and Linux machines
• Basic networking protocols experience
• Experience making and deploying computer images
• Experience working with a ticketing system
