Noah Medical’s Instruments and Accessories R&D Engineering Team is responsible for design improvements of the current disposable endoluminal devices as well as the optimization and introduction of new disposable endoluminal medical device solutions that are safe, effective, on-time and scalable. We are a dynamic, data driven team and pride ourselves in our creative, collaborative, and critical thinking approach to problem solving. We continuously strive to meet a high quality level that our customers expect.
A Day In The Life Of Our Senior R&D Engineer, I&A:
- Participate as a member of the I&A team, which is responsible for ideation, development, commercialization, and sustaining of various endoluminal devices.
- Design, iterate and prototype devices and fixtures for testing and manufacturing
- Perform thorough root cause analysis and generate reports on unexpected failures
- Derive design requirements, failure modes, design outputs, risk controls
- Document test protocols, test reports and elements of the design history file.
- Prepare and/or participate in group design reviews, brainstorming sessions and technical strategy discussions.
- Communicates and estimates on planned dates, progress and efforts of work.
- Presents technical content to non-technical cross-functional teams and physicians.
About You:
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in medical devices
- Skilled in creating complex components and assemblies in Solidworks
- Skilled in design for manufacturing and fabrication methods
- Skilled in DOE, root cause analysis and characterization studies
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration
- Skilled in project management activities for development
- B.S. minimum in Mechanical, Material Science, or Biomedical Engineering
