Daycare Teacher/Floater

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher/Floater to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is flexible, as you will cover breaks and assist in various classrooms as needed.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children during daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Cover for teachers during breaks, providing support and continuity for the children’s learning and care.
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote development and creativity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classrooms and play areas.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a daycare or early childhood setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to adapt to various situations and work effectively as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
