Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Administrator to join our team. This position combines Billing and Administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in accounting processes. As a Billing Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing procedures, among other key responsibilities.
Under the direct supervision of the Office Manager, this position is primarily responsible for all aspects of utility billing, including regular bi-monthly billings, closing out outstanding bills, and collecting overdue payments. This position will also assist the Office Manager with various accounting duties and other miscellaneous duties.
Essential Duties:
- Accurately and efficiently generate regular statements, closing of account statements, and collection billing - Accounts Receivable Reconciliation
-Process customer transactions - Make outbound calls regarding past due and/or shut off notices to attempt to collect payment
-Serve as backup to the Front Desk position
-Assist the Office Manager with Accounts Payable, various monthly reports, and other administrative tasks
- Reconcile multiple bank statements and financial transactions monthly
-Monthly reconciliation of inventory assets
-Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize different tasks and duties simultaneously
- Efficiently use a ten key
- Clear communication with managers, staff, and customers
- Ability to work in a fluctuating, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
Required Experience
· Accounting: 1 year of education or experience
· Microsoft Excel: 2 years
· Office: 3 years
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (Pre Employment and Random)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 per hour starting
