Job Description:

The Technician 1 role labels, assembles and packages dental implants and abutments in a clean room environment.

• Accurate and efficient assembly, labeling and packaging of dental abutments and implants in a clean room environment
• Interfaces with Quality Control, Manufacturing Technicians as necessary to assure output and quality meet and exceed standards
• Understand and comply with safety and area cleanliness requirements
• Understands and complies with FDA, QSR and ISO 9001 requirements
• Capable of conducting all TPM (Total Production Maintenance) requirements
• Must be able to train co-workers when needed (mentor)
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Critical Knowledge:

• High School diploma, some college preferred.
• Must understand technical drawings
• Understands own tasks and how they relate to others on their team. Works under close supervision where duties are clearly defined. Will follow standard work applicable.
• Completes required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Understands and complies with all safety and area cleanliness policies, must successfully complete all SOP Training
• Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training and classroom instruction.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Critical Skills:

• Able to communicate; speak and write in English at a High School Level.
• Reading comprehension at a High School Level.
• Familiarity with PC, basic data entry, SAP a plus.
• Good manual dexterity
• Must be able to lift 25lbs at a minimum
• Have 20/20 vision with or without aid

Critical Experience:

• Minimum of 6months as a Technician Apprentice or equivalent.
• Small part production
• Medical Device Experience, a plus.
• Ability to operate abutment and implant packaging equipment

Target Market Salary Range:

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$19.90 – $27.00 per hour
