We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations within our office. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts receivable and payable, including invoice preparation and processing payments.
  • Manage scheduling and coordination of service calls for electrical services appointments.
  • Maintain and oversee the company’s email systems and provide basic IT support - helping with printers, monitors, Wi-Fi, etc.
  • Conduct remote bank deposits and manage a carrier or financial transactions.
  • Order and manage office supplies and handle some receiving duties.
  • Assist in mail sorting and distribution.
  • Operate a forklift as needed. This skill is not a must and who knows? You might be a natural (forklift training and certification provided).
  • Learn and assist with job costing to understand and support financial tracking.
  • Perform basic cleaning and maintenance duties to keep the office environment professional and tidy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an office manager or similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software, specifically, QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required, with a strong proficiency in written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required - we'll train you!

Pay: $20.50 - $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
