Job Overview
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in our Commercial Waste Services division while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. This role is critical to driving revenue, promoting our waste management solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Build Relationships: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with commercial clients, understanding their unique waste disposal needs.
- Consultative Sales: Educate clients on our services, customize waste management solutions, and close sales.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Service and Account Management: Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing service concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and local market dynamics.
- Collaborate with Operations: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 1 year in sales, preferably in waste, environmental services, or a related industry.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Customer-Focused: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for client relationships.
- Self-Starter: Goal-oriented, able to work independently, and thrives in a team environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with waste management services, recycling, and sustainability is a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and sales tools.
- Valid Driver’s License: Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
