Construction Senior Accountant
Noble Fueling Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant for a full-time position. Responsibilities include assisting the Corporate Controller and CFO with overseeing the GAAP accounting of the portfolio companies. Must possess strong knowledge of Inventory, Accruals, Job Costing, Percentage of Completion job schedule (“POC”), and Sales Tax. Relevant experience working in the construction industry is required.
Reports to the Corporate Controller and CFO.
Duties Include :
Responsible for reviewing and / or preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare / review monthly prepaid and accrual schedules and ensure proper monthly posting of accounting entries.
Maintain supporting workpapers and reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts.
Provide support to the auditors and tax advisors as needed.
Support and oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
Assist with Percentage of Completion job schedule (“POC”) as needed.
Assist with Unbilled Revenue schedules as needed.
Assist with filing of sales tax returns as needed.
Assist in driving an 8-day month-end close.
Preliminary review of monthly financials including variance analysis.
Assist with any ad-hoc accounting projects and ERP implementations across the platform companies as needed.
Requirements :
5 years of related accounting experience.
At least (1) year of experience working at a public accounting firm or worked for a CPA for more than (1) year.
Extensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Construction cost accounting experience.
Experience with MS Office applications, including Excel.
Detail oriented, organized, able to work independently and meet stringent deadlines with minimal supervision.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Experience :
GAAP : 5 years (Required)
Sage 300 and Sage Intacct ERP experience preferred
