Noble House Hotels and Resorts owns, manages, or operates a portfolio of 20 luxury, independent hotels and resorts around the country and Mexico. We are seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller for our corporate office located in Kirkland, WA.

What You Do:
The Assistant Corporate Controller reports directly to the Corporate Real Estate Controller and partners with teams and leaders across the company. Primary responsibilities of the Assistant Controller include:
- supervise and lead the accounting team in efficient and timely closing and reporting of financial results
- review and ensure accuracy of monthly accounting for corporate real estate entities and development projects
- manage preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and other financial reports in accordance with US GAAP
- oversee all aspects of fixed asset accounting including development project budgets, cash flows, depreciation schedules and tax and audit requirements
- prepare and update financial forecasts, cash flows, proforma analysis and budgets
- coordinate the personal property and real estate tax filings and audits with external firms
- manage cash balances and cash needs for operations and capital projects
- facilitate international accounting with Mexico subsidiary and accounting firms
- manage all annual external financial statement and tax reporting requirements with external CPA firms
- oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including approving invoices, expense reports and releasing payments
- ensure compliance with debt agreements and contracts
- collaborate with hotel property controllers and department managers to ensure property accounting is in compliance with US GAAP
- oversee treasury management across multiple banking relationships
- implement, document, and maintain effective SOPs, internal controls, and systems
- manage department processes to create efficiencies and improvements
- participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
Requirements
To be successful as the Assistant Corporate Controller position, you:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; CPA is strongly preferred
- Have 5 years of corporate accounting, or equivalent experience in public accounting
- Advanced Excel proficiency and fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Outlook, etc.)
- Preferred background in real estate, hospitality or multi-unit/multi-company accounting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a hands-on, collaborative environment where no 2 days are the same.
- Ability to prioritize well. You know how to handle many small transactions for lots of corporate entities, rather than lots of transactions for one company
- Proven experience with multi-business operations and intercompany consolidations
- Strong attention to detail and can be both hands-on and strategic
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
