Overview
Nobles Construction Components, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic 3D CAD Modeler/Detailer Back Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our Back Office. This pivotal role oversees all activities in offices and extensions where CAD modeling, detailing, and hardware management occur. As a hands-on leader, you will perform all duties and manage a dedicated team of Project Managers, Modelers, and Detailers, ensuring every project is executed with precision, efficiency, and the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Department Management & Efficiency:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure a smooth workflow within the Back Office.
- Constantly identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, and schedule activities.
- Order materials and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Report on project progress and address any issues proactively.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise, train, and develop a team of Project Managers, Modelers, and Detailers.
- Conduct performance reviews, foster a collaborative work environment, and create safe avenues for critical feedback.
- Lead by example by actively engaging in modeling and detailing tasks as needed.
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage departmental inventory, oversee budget adherence, and coordinate purchases to maintain productivity.
- Prepare detailed performance reports covering production goals, safety metrics, and financials.
- Stay current with company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, or a related field is preferred (not mandatory).
- Experience:
- Typically 3 years in a supervisory role and 5 years in project management are preferred (experience in these areas is advantageous but not strictly required).
- Proven proficiency with BIM software and 3D modeling.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret plans.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Additional Requirement:
- Valid and current California driver’s license is required.
- Must live within 30 miles of the Susanville Campus no later than three months after first day of employment.
- This position is an on-campus position.

Salaries are competitive and reflect the candidate's experience and responsibilities. Based on industry standards, approximate salary ranges are:
Position Level Salary Range
Entry-level Back Office Manager $60,000 - $70,000
Mid-level Back Office Manager $70,000 - $80,000
Senior-level Back Office Manager $80,000 - $90,000
Director $90,000 - $100,000
