Job Title: IT Support Tech

Job Summary:
This role provides technical and analytical support for desktop, telecom, and network infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, network equipment, and phone systems, along with coordinating infrastructure changes and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma/GED (preferred); Vocational training or Bachelor's in IT/computer science (preferred).
- Experience: 2-5 years in desktop, telecom, network hardware, and software support.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Service Requests & Support
- Process new service requests, coordinate infrastructure moves, and ensure asset management compliance.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with IT teams.
✔ Desktop & Software Support
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Perform basic hardware repairs and assist users with IT issues.
✔ Telecom Support
- Configure and troubleshoot Avaya systems, wired/wireless phones, and Vocera devices.
- Maintain telecom equipment and wiring, handle moves, adds, and changes.
✔ Network Support
- Install and replace preconfigured network devices (switches, firewalls, terminal servers).
- Maintain data closets, cross connections, and network documentation.
✔ Customer Service & Documentation
- Manage ServiceNow (SN) tickets, ensure SLA compliance, and respond within 4 hours.
- Escalate complex issues and lead small IT projects.
- Document technical issues and process changes for internal use.
✔ On-Call Rotation
- Participate in 24/7 support for field incidents and outages.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
