Noblesville Youth Assistance Program (NYAP) serves as an early intervention advocate for youth ages 3-17 residing within the boundaries of Noblesville Schools district who are facing challenging life circumstances. Leveraging the distinct legal authority of our Early Intervention Advocates, we collaborate closely with schools, law enforcement, and the judicial system to craft comprehensive intervention strategies. About the Contract Position:
We are seeking an outgoing, friendly, welcoming, team player with a commitment to our mission and values to join our team as our Office Coordinator. This position is a mix of administrative, community engagement, and program coordination tasks. The Office Coordinator will support the Early Intervention Advocates (EIA) and Board of Directors in day-to-day operations with the goal to advance NYAP’s mission and serve the youth of Noblesville. This is a 1099 Position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating NYAP programs and events
- Gathering and prepare materials for events and meetings
- Maintain accurate records of all gifts and in kind donations
- Manage donor and supporter mailings, recognition, and communications
- Support EIA’s in regular/ongoing tasks or office needs
- Assist with grant submissions and reporting, as needed.
- Create and execute content across various social media platforms.
- Design agency collateral, including flyers, brochures, signage, annual and impact reports as well as other materials as needed.
- Assist in recruitment, screening, and training of all incoming volunteers and maintain up to date records of volunteer information
- Case Management Support (as needed)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years related experience; nonprofit experience a plus
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in an environment of growth and change
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Solid written and oral communication skills and excellent phone manner
- Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well with partner organizations and business partners
- Must be able to embrace diversity and maintain a professional demeanor, refraining from judgmental attitudes towards colleagues and clients, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License
- Must be able and willing to lift and carry items 35-50 lbs
- Must be able to pass a federal and state background check
- Must be committed to maintaining confidentiality
- Must be able to work limited number of weekends and evenings as needed
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week

- Weekends as needed
