Lead Budtender, Edwardsburg

Objective:

NOBO Michigan LLC is a multi-brand, vertically integrated cannabis organization focused on growth, sustainability, and optimization. We oversee every step of growing and processing of cannabis to ensure we create the industry's best products with our customers in mind.

We are seeking a Lead Budtender who will oversee a group of team members and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects, tasks, and daily operations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and organizational skills to motivate and guide the team towards achieving their goals while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Cannabis Provisioning experience as a manager.

  • Minimum of 3 years of personnel management experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of inventory management experience using industry-specific software.

  • Minimum of 3 years of point of sale and cash handling experience.

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony.

  • Must not be registered as a primary caregiver or must withdraw registration as a registered primary caregiver prior to accepting an official Offer of Employment.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Tasks and Expectations:

  1. Leadership and Supervision:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    • Communicate goals, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.

    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and workload.

  2. Inventory Fulfillment:

    • Oversee the stocking of products on the sales floor before & during shift.

    • Monitor budtender transactions, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  3. Performance Management:

    • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback to team members.

    • Coach performance and identify opportunities for professional development.

    • Recognize and reward high-performing team members and address performance issues promptly.

  4. Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the team and upper management.

    • Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments.

    • Ensure guest satisfaction through proper resolution of conflict.

  5. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

    • Identify and resolve conflicts or issues within the team promptly and effectively.

    • Make informed decisions to enhance team productivity and performance.

    • Encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving approaches among team members.

  6. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.

    • Implement and enforce best practices and standard operating procedures.

    • Complete all team lead paperwork and communications to maintain high standards of work.

  7. Resource Management:

    • Manage team resources, including time, labor budget, and products efficiently.

    • Coordinate with GM for recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.

    • Ensure team members have the necessary tools and resources to perform their tasks.

  8. Technologies:

    • Dutchie Register: Must be proficient with customer facing element of the POS

    • Dutchie Back Office: Must be proficient with the operational element of the POS

    • Alpine: Monitor customer Loyalty Platform.

    • Zebra Printer: Use in collaboration with Dutchie Back Office to create labels.

  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in reading, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

  • Cash Handling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18 per hour tips
