We are currently looking for a Maintenance/Renovations Lead to help drive our mission forward. If you have hands-on experience in maintenance and/or construction, a knack for managing tasks efficiently, and excellent customer-facing communication skills, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, including drywall, basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, flooring, window repairs, appliance fixes, and more.
- Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors for larger repairs, renovations, and improvements.
- Assist with residential construction projects (non-licensed activities), ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Prepare units for new tenants by performing painting, cleaning, and light repairs.
- Track maintenance requests and repairs, keeping accurate records and documentation for inspections and follow-ups.
- Help manage the property’s preventative maintenance program, identifying and addressing potential issues before they arise.
- Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed to ensure tenant safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in maintenance and/or construction, with a strong understanding of basic maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in small remodel projects and the ability to complete them efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with tenants and coworkers alike.
- Basic computer skills necessary for checking and responding to maintenance tasks, collaborating with team members, and communicating with clients/tenants.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment or supplies when necessary.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Competitive pay based on experience; projected pay range is $26.00 - $30.00 per hour.
