What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/Assistant position at NOHNC?
Looking for a FT Reliable Front Desk Medical Receptionist. Medical Office experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task while providing excellent customer service. Good attitude and ability to maintain a smile in a fast paced environment.
Purpose: To ensure patients are scheduled in a way that promotes organized and designated treatment times while promoting clinic efficiency and patient compliance and satisfaction.
Skills and abilities required: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, Computer savvy, Good with people, Self Starter, Organized, Able to follow through and complete tasks,Team player, Stays calm under pressure, Attention to detail, Fast Learner, Dependable, etc.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Answer phones, take detailed messages, greet and check in/check out patients, collect patient co-pays, coordinate patient’s treatment plan, schedule patient appointments, educate patients on clinic policies, maintain and balance daily deposits and daily charge reports, type Chart notes in EMR, transmittal and follow up of physician correspondence, insurance verification and authorization, scanning and filing reports, etc.
