Noise Control Engineering, LLC (NCE) is a premier engineering consulting firm specializing in marine and industrial noise and vibration control. Our work includes prediction and measurement of acoustic environments as we assist our clients to identify effective control strategies to meet mission objectives. We are proud to support our government, commercial marine, and industrial clients to solve a wide range of acoustical problems.
NCE is seeking a part-time location flexible software developer to support the development and maintenance of internal engineering tools. In this role, you will:
- Lead efforts to develop and maintain custom noise analysis software
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices
- Document software functionality and updates
- Provide technical support to NCE as needed
Requirements:
- Proficiency in C# programming language.
- Experience in developing and maintaining custom noise analysis software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- The expected weekly commitment is up to 4 hours, with some weeks requiring minimal effort and other requiring more.
