What are the responsibilities and job description for the Department Head Math&Algorithms Research position at Nokia?
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- As part of the leadership of the Artificial Intelligence Research lab, you will be responsible for driving our vision for mathematics, algorithms and theoretical computing science in telecommunications and beyond.
- Showing technology leadership and staying current with the state-of-the-art technology
- Active contribution to the construction of project proposals
- Reporting and communication (to peers, upper and lower levels)
- Driving impact of research results towards Nokia's portfolio and support the technology transfer to business groups
- Building solutions that extend beyond Nokia's current research portfolio and supporting their transfer towards incubation.
- Resource planning and steering individual activities toward the lab vision
