Reporting directly to the Regional Customer Service Supervisor, and indirectly to the Regional Sales Director.

This role works closely with local / global planning, finance and logistics teams, to ensure order fulfillment and product availability and invoicing matters.

Candidate needs to be efficient in organizational and communication skills, must be able to prioritize duties throughout the day, time management, planification and must be proactive.

Experience in industrial manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receives incoming customer orders by EDI, email and Salesforce; enters accurately and timely to Oracle ERP system.
  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding order status and changes in a timely manner.
  • Provides customers open order and product availability reports on a scheduled basis; aligns open orders with customer expectations on delivery dates.
  • Prioritizes orders based on sales / customer vs. available product.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for customer inquiries relating to product recommendations and order / shipment timing.
  • Works closely with Logistics team to ensure highest on time delivery performance with customers.
  • Utilizing ATP reporting, provides customer specific product availability based on point of origin.
  • Point of contact with local supply and planning to ensure correct product fulfillment based on customer request.
  • Supports Field Sales Team with reports, pricing and shipment details.
  • Upholds Nokian mission and values and demonstrates supporting behaviors in day-to-day actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years relevant work experience in a customer service / inside sales role (Account Order Management), ideally in a durable consumer goods or industrial products business.
  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing.
  • Basic working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Oracle (order entry processes).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Service oriented with a commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Able to analyze data to identify relevant trends / patterns and effectively escalate concerns.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Able to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States - this position will not offer relocation or visa sponsorship.
