Job Summary:
Nola Hotel Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hotel Sales Coordinator to support our sales team. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with excellent problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a strong understanding of social media for sales and marketing purposes. You will assist in coordinating sales activities, responding to client inquiries, preparing proposals, and ensuring seamless event and group bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from potential clients regarding meeting spaces, accommodations, and event bookings, providing detailed information to facilitate the sales process.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals and contracts tailored to clients’ specific needs, clearly outlining pricing, services, and terms to secure bookings.
- Coordinate the booking process for meetings, events, and accommodations, acting as a liaison between clients, internal departments, and vendors to ensure flawless execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and personalized service, addressing any concerns or requests efficiently.
- Maintain client databases and records, tracking interactions, bookings, and preferences to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support event logistics, including setup, catering coordination, and other necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth experience.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, follow up on proposals, and tentative contracts.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, include entering reservations and rooming lists and pick up reports.
- Manage social media and content management
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to optimize sales efforts, leverage resources, and maximize revenue-generating opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1 years of experience in the hotel industry, with a proven track record of supporting sales teams and driving revenue.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with PMS software.
- Experience in social media management and content creation for sales and marketing purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the hotel’s overall sales and marketing objectives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
