Position Overview:
We’re looking for a professional and personable Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to be the face and voice of our firm. This individual will manage front desk responsibilities, support daily administrative operations, and assist with appointment scheduling. A strong phone presence is essential, and knowledge of construction or engineering-related terminology is required to effectively communicate with clients and support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and route phone calls with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Schedule and confirm appointments, inspections, and meetings
- Greet and assist visitors and clients
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and scanning documents
- Manage office supplies and help maintain a tidy, organized office space
- Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and office staff to ensure smooth operations
- Support customer service inquiries with accurate information and prompt follow-up
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; administrative training or associate degree preferred
- Prior experience in an administrative or receptionist role (experience in architecture, engineering, or construction industries preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
