What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Treasury Analyst position at Nolan Transportation Group?
As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing the company's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk. You will work closely with the Treasury team to execute daily cash operations, analyze financial data, forecast future cash balances, and support strategic initiatives to optimize the company's capital structure and maximize shareholder value.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily cash balances and multi-week cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and financial obligations.
- Execute cash management activities, including wire transfers, cash concentration, and funding of accounts.
- Optimize cash utilization by identifying opportunities to centralize cash, minimize idle cash balances, and maximize interest income.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account setup, documentation, and ongoing communication.
- Negotiate banking services and fees to optimize costs and maximize value for the company.
- Stay informed about banking industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the company's banking relationships and cash management practices.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
- Prepare financial models and forecasts to assess the impact of capital structure changes, investment decisions, and financing alternatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and market research.
- Identify, measure, and manage financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and counterparty credit risk.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and hedging programs to mitigate exposure to market risks.
- Monitor compliance with treasury policies, risk limits, and regulatory requirements.
- Support treasury operations, including the administration of treasury systems, documentation, and controls.
- Manage, update, and reconcile the treasury management system / workstation on a daily basis and as needed.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cash management and treasury technology solutions.
- Participate in treasury-related projects and initiatives to improve processes, systems, and efficiency.
- Assist with travel & expense (T&E) activities, including managing the T&E inbox, responding to questions, and reviewing expense reports.

SCHEDULING
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m. An employee in this position must be available to work occasionally on weekends and evenings, during peak periods.
TRAVEL
Local travel is required. Out of state travel is limited, but may be required for special training / conferences.
