Local growing company is seeking a SR QA Engineer who is into automation and can partner with both product and engineering teams. This is a fulltime Hybrid role-
What will I be doing???
*Define test suites and automate test cases
*Maintain automation test case repository and evaluate test cycles in different environments.
*Work with Product and Engineering team members to ensure quality testing methods are applied to automation testing suites
*Communicate testing metrics during releases
*Learning and using tools for backend/API/UI testing
*Verifying bug fixes and new features and testing in different environments to support releases
*Reporting bugs and updating work items with testing evidence.
*Working with QA team to communicate what’s being automatized and planning towards the growth of the automation team across our suite of products.
What experience is needed and desired???
3 years automation testing experience.
Evaluation of manual test cases and to automate them.
Communication skills
Back-end testing with Sql/PostgresSQL
Ability to document standards and practices as they change and grow for the QA automation team.
API testing experience
Jira or similar agile products
Familiar with test case management tools
Automation tools experience
GitHub or similar version control tools
Experience building an automation test suite and linking them to manual test cases.
Passionate and self-driven and able to work with team for code reviews.
