You’ll play a key role in preparing accurate take-offs, pricing, and subcontractor bid packages across a variety of infrastructure and site development projects.

You’ll play a key role in preparing accurate take-offs, pricing, and subcontractor bid packages across a variety of infrastructure and site development projects.
What You’ll Do
- Accurately review and interpret project documents to estimate civil scopes of work
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing across civil disciplines
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors
- Participate in bid preparation, including final bid assembly on bid day
- Attend pre-bid conferences and contribute to early-stage project planning
- Assist in developing preliminary project schedules and procurement plans
- Prepare technical documents including RFPs, purchase orders, and subcontracts
- Identify quality control and site-specific safety requirements for incorporation into estimates
- Contribute to value engineering strategies and budget development
- Interface with clients to define needs, clarify scopes, and present study results
- Assist with drawing reviews, technical bid analysis, and specification development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- 3 years of civil estimating experience with a GC or subcontractor
- Strong technical understanding of civil infrastructure, sitework, utilities, and earthwork
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support project engineers
- Competency in construction documentation and CAD coordination
