Overview : About You
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the environment of enterprise technical systems (servers, data storage, network, email, security). This includes daily monitoring / operation of the environment and implementation of new features supporting the evolution of the environment to meet the needs of a quickly growing and changing enterprise notably in the direction of Microsoft cloud offerings.

Your Day in the Life
Implement and maintain server infrastructure including virtual, web, application, file, and print serversImplement, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure including internal, Wi-Fi, MPLS WAN, and internetImplement and maintain security infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, file permissions, anti-virus / anti-spam, and patch managementImplement and maintain the enterprise monitoring infrastructure to ensure security and optimal performance of network, PCs, servers, etc.Implement and maintain domain architecture including (Azure) Active Directory, group policies, domain controllers, and user accounts applying appropriate security policiesImplement and maintain technical systems in remote restaurant locations, at the Central Support Office, and in the field including optimized imaging / deployment processesImplement and maintain data infrastructure including SAN and databasesMonitor and maintain the storage and security of the companys critical data including backups and restoresOptimize messaging platforms including M365 Exchange and Microsoft TeamsInvestigate observations as assigned from the Noodles & Company IT Security Team (virtual SOC)Serve as the escalation point for issues related to systems under the care of the Systems Administration TeamProvide end-user support via phone, email, web-based tools, and in-person on use of IT systems including workstations, office productivity software, and network accessProvide support in setting up the systems infrastructure for new restaurant openingsAct as technical liaison to vendors and consulting partnersParticipate in the development and testing of disaster recovery plansMaintain a working knowledge of systems managed by other members of the Systems Administration Team to provide backupExecute projects as outlined by department leadershipSupport compliance with external regulations (PCI, SOX, etc.) and internal standardsWhat You Bring to the Team
1-3 years of professional experience requiredBachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious restaurant, retail, or multi-unit professional experience highly preferredExperience in a user support role is preferredFormal help desk experience preferred including use of a ticketing system, ability to dynamically prioritize tasks amongst multiple team members, and escalating issues to meet support timelinesWorking knowledge of multi-unit restaurant hardware configurations and software applicationsExperience with the following software packages and hardware environments :Aloha Quick Service Point of Sale System
