Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Directly supervises the Slot Attendants in the Slot Department. Supervises the Slot Technicians in the absence of the Slot Tech Supervisor. Ensures and promotes exceptional guest services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities and ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and internal controls.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports Directly to: Slots Manager
Supervises Directly: Slot Attendants and Slot Technicians
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Ensures a high level of guest satisfaction and maintains an environment conducive to that goal.

Verifies all jackpots and short pays in accordance with current Nooksack Casino gaming regulations.

Ensures that gaming procedures and regulations are properly implemented and followed. Ensures compliance with tribal, state, federal, and NIGC regulations and laws.

Supervises floor operations during assigned shift. Addresses complaints and resolves problems.

Staffs, schedules, evaluates, trains, develops, and monitors subordinate personnel to ensure departmental effectiveness.

Works in conjunction with the Slot Manager to organize and implement all special events.

Delegates projects and responsibilities to Floor Supervisors and monitors their progress.

Interviews prospective employees. Trains floor supervisors.

Evaluates the work performance of Floor Supervisors and Slot Attendants. Coaches others in an effort to correct substandard performance. Rewards and disciplines employees.

Acts as key departmental conduit for information traveling up and down the organizational ladder. Shares information with other departments to facilitate customer service and their handling of guest situations.

Ensures the control and protection of company assets.

Supervises activities in which the Slot Department is involved.

Works closely with the Slot Manager to address the needs of the department.

Because of the Casino’s commitment to our guests and customer service, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
-
One year of supervisory experience in a slot department.
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Class III gaming licenses from the Nooksack Gaming Commission and the Washington State Gambling Commission.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Liquor Control Board Class 12 Mixologist Permit and TIPS certification.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
WORKING CONDITIONS

May work in a noisy, crowded, and smoke-filled environment.

May interact with persons who are angered, intoxicated, or distressed.

Will be monitored by surveillance cameras.

May be required to work various shifts and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to lift, move, and push items weighing up to 25 lbs.

Position requires walking or moving about to accomplish tasks and occasional standing and/or sitting for sustained periods of time.
