Our client, a commercial real estate development firm based in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a Development Analyst/ Financial Analyst to support the underwriting of new development and financing opportunities. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work alongside senior leadership, providing financial analysis and market research to drive informed investment decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling and underwriting for new development projects and financing opportunities.
- Analyze market data, property performance, and economic trends to support decision-making.
- Assist with due diligence, feasibility studies, and investment memos.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and financial packages for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development, acquisitions, and finance teams to evaluate project viability.
- Support financing activities, including loan structuring and financial projections.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in real estate development, finance, or investment analysis.
- Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software. (ARGUS exposure is a plus, but not required)
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
