Paraprofessional

Noor-Ul-Iman School is seeking a Paraprofessional. Prior experience and licensing preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists instructional personnel with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Work with students individually or in small groups, as directed by the supervising teacher.
• Provide input in selecting activities appropriate to the abilities, needs, and interests of the students;
• Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the facilitator and classroom teachers.
• Assist in the implementation of Individualized Service Plans for the students and monitor their progress.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• Work with other professionals, such as teachers, special ed teachers, and/or counselors.
