Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems including but not limited to, audio visual, conference room systems, sound masking and other types of systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems.
Responsibilities
· Install, configure and service low voltage systems.
· Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues with existing installations.
· Utilize various manufacturers software platforms to program and/or service these systems.
· Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems and to service existing systems.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
· Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed.
· Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a service technician in low voltage systems and related fields.
· Familiarity with Sound Masking Systems is a plus.
· Knowledge of current DSP software platforms such as QSC, Biamp, Shure, Bose etc…
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
· Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time.
· Must be able to work without supervision.
· Must possess a clean driver's license and must a have a car to use for work.
· Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
