Job Summary:
The Application Engineer - Large Industrial Drives will assist with the development of our business in the Large Industrial Drives product market. They will provide application and technical product support, to advise customers on the proper selection, application, maintenance and trouble-shooting of NORD Large Industrial products. After a selection is made the application engineer will produce a quotation for the customer. Some travel to job sites may be required for larger projects, or customer meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Selection/Pricing/Quoting/Proposals for customers
- Assist customers with product drawings
- Specification review
- Support sales and marketing strategy
- Assist with marketing material
- Support Sales as a Technical expert
- Technical support to the factory, sales team, and customers
- Assist with problem investigation on site
- Process orders in SAP
Job Requirements:
1. Education: 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering required from an accredited university.
2. Experience: 3-5 years Mechanical Engineering experience in related field required; 1 years in large industrial gear market beneficial.
