We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Business Unit Nord-Lock team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their needs are met. The role will report to the Customer Service Manager and will be based at our Clinton, PA facility (outside of Pittsburgh, PA).
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supports sales efforts by entering customer orders; reviewing and validating quotations of price; reviewing and validating customer purchase orders; providing customer support to inside and outside sales team.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat to address their inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Reviews customer purchase order (PO) and translates PO’s into order entry
- Works with inside and outside sales team to validate a request for quote (RFQ)
- Works with Inside and Outside Sales Team to determine standard or special pricing
- Manage incoming customer requests and orders via phone and email
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers
- Follow company guidelines and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years in a customer service position, preferably in an industrial products-based industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer information
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication
