POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Warehouse Coordinator directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As the Warehouse Coordinator you will be responsible for the performance of the day-to-day administrative tasks involved in the management of warehouse operations that include but are not limited to warehouse analysis and control, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing, and the distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
This role will be located in our Irving, Texas facility.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage the day-to-day coordination functions of the supplier warehouses.
Oversee all data entry functions of warehouse to ensure timely and accurate inventory information that results in efficient inventory management and control.
Oversee shipping and receiving; ensure data entry is correct as well as check all inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy.
Ensure Safety, OSHA, and EPA compliance in every facet.
Cost of Energy (CoE) supporter and contributor.
Correctly utilizes ERP software to research, fix, and document any discrepancies.
Effectively learn and utilize business intelligence software to help drive departmental objectives.
Proactively contributes to departmental performance metrics within assigned areas.
Ensure inventory adjustment standards are followed.
Ensure Post Parts Sales Orders are handled quickly and efficiently.
Ensure frequent cycle counts are completed to proactively stop inventory loss and adjustments.
Keep a constant focus on warehouse expenditures and ensure effective use of company resources.
Coordinate maintenance of components while in storage.
Act as primary liaison between Nordex and warehousing suppliers.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU HAVE
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
3-5 years experience in logistics warehouse materials control processes.
3-5 years experience utilizing ERP material management or logistics platform
3-5 years experience working with subcontractors
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of tasks.
Customer-oriented and works well with others.
Experienced working safely around heavy materials and equipment.
Ability to drive and operate material handling equipment.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office as well as ERP software.
Prior SAP experience is highly desirable.
Team player, ability to work well under pressure, and demonstrates an ability to work independently.
Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
