Warehouse Manager
Nordis Technologies is seeking a professional, organized Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic production team. We are a fast-paced, digital printing and mailing company and this position will oversee all warehouse and inventory control functions at our two facilities strategically located in the east and west region within the United States.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating the receiving and distribution of materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities to support production and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
- Plan, organize, and manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished products.
- Schedule offsite pick-up and deliveries, post office pick-ups, and freight scheduling
- Ensure inventory levels are accurate and align with production and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels of inventory production supplies and other materials, and initiate reorders as needed between both multi-state facilities.
- Maintaining all company vehicles to meet standards and regulations.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of all operations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address employee concerns promptly.
Logistics and Coordination:
- Collaborate with production, sales, and delivery teams to coordinate shipments and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and shipping vendors.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure the warehouse operates in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all tools and machinery are in proper working condition.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows (SOPs)
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the printing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform warehouse tasks as needed.
Education and Experience - Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
