What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant to School Principal position at Norfolk Public Schools?
The Administrative Assistant to the School Principal will be employed full-time in support of the building principal for grades 3-6. This is a 12-month position.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED required. An Associate’s Degree in office management, business sciences or a related field is preferred
• Three to 5 years of experience in business administration, two of which have been in a school environment or equivalent education or experience
Works for 12 months
THIS POSITION IS IN THE FRONT OFFICE OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GRADES 3-6

Proficiency with office software, Google Suite, computers, and office machines
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Operate effectively while under pressure
• MUNIS training desired
• Successful Massachusetts CORI and State Fingerprinting

This is a 12-month fully benefited position.
