Project Manager/Scrum Master - W2 contract

Position: Tech Project Manager/Scrum Master

Location: Jersey City, NJ/ Plano, TX (Hybrid model) - 3 days onsite

Client: Financial Client

NOTE: W2 Contract only

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead two Agile teams and applying Scrum principles to achieve business value
• Facilitate Scrum routines and corresponding with management as needed
• Execute on Enterprise Change Management requirements
• Work with the Agile team to remove impediments
• Create, maintain, and execute project plans
• Manage technology, and business partners/stakeholder relationships to manage the project scope and delivery
• Manage governance routines, including daily/ weekly routines, tollgates, program increment preparation, updating project repositories and required documentation.
• Facilitate communication, influence, and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to obtain agreement between partners
• Establish and provide supporting documentation for governance routines
• Establish status templates and weekly status update routines
• Handle release management tasks to ensure the team is compliant with CRQ documentation mandates
• Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives

Requirements:

• Able to coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on)
• Able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
• Proficiency in using Jira for managing project deliverables
• Sound knowledge of program management and solution delivery
• Significant experience with SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SAFE.
• Technically competent with various software programs including MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse and data management principles.
• Scrum Master, Agile certifications
• Knowledge and experience with Change Management process
• Experience crafting documents / diagrams / roadmaps that showcase the work and architecture of the team and application
• Understands databases
