The Accounting Manager is responsible for accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial and compliance reporting, monthly balancing, and recording and timely reporting of accounting records/transactions.
Job Functions
- Main duties include managing activities, resources, and responsibilities of A/R and A/P in conformance with established policies, practices, and procedures.
- Input and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, vendor/customer relationships and cross-team collaboration.
- Day by day supervision of the AR and AP team for all NAM entities, managing a team of 4 people.
- Responsible of timely and accurate posting of AP assuring prompt resolution of any discrepancy
- Responsible of timely management and reconciliation of GRNI (good receipts) accounts
- Responsible of reconciliation for any AP and AR related accounts
- Supporting the Finance organization by providing all necessary reports for Month end closing, cash flow forecasting, sales and use tax accounting and reporting.
- Perform special projects and duties as required.
- Minimum 5 years in a financial accounting management position.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills.
- Ready to participate and contribute as part of the management team.
- Results orientated team leader and motivator.
- AXD365 experience preferred.
- Strong management skills
