The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a crucial role in our program, working closely with cardiologists and other staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Prepare equipment for procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
