The Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. Our innovative cardiovascular program is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to expand our team.
Job Summary
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintains strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment for procedures, ensuring all necessary tools are available.
- Evaluates patient conditions, preparing them for procedures and providing exceptional care.
- Maintains a clean and sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Develops and implements educational programs for new staff members.
- Fosters collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current RCIS certification and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility.
- Previous experience in Procedural Areas preferred.
- BLS training required; ACLS within 6 months.
