We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. As a member of our Cath Lab team, you will play a critical role in preparing equipment and providing patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients as needed.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff members.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other tasks delegated by the Charge person or manager.
- Promote strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- BLS training required; ACLS certification must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Compensation and Benefits
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
