The Norman Regional Health System has an opening for a skilled Registered Cardiovascular Technologist. This individual will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care during cardiovascular procedures. The successful candidate will maintain a sterile environment, assist in equipment management, and serve as a preceptor for new staff.
Job Summary:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
