What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
The successful candidate will be a registered radiologic technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or a certified invasive cardiology specialist with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Experience in a procedural area, particularly in cath lab settings, is highly desirable.
