Job Description
The Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist is responsible for preparing equipment, assisting in cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient care in a sterile environment. This role requires strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and positions equipment for procedures
- Provides patient care and identifies patient condition
- Maintains a sterile environment and ensures compliance with departmental policies
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications
