Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in our cardiovascular program, preparing equipment for procedures, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires collaboration with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
