Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Radiographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cath Lab environment, with a strong understanding of medical imaging procedures and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, preparing and positioning them for optimal imaging results
- Maintains a sterile environment throughout the procedure
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment, preferably with certification in radiology and cardiovascular technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications
