Job Summary
The CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System plays a vital role in preparing and assisting with cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares and positions them for care
- Maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participates in the orientation of new staff
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or RCIS with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
