Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our Cath Lab team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and a sterile environment. This role also involves serving as a preceptor for new hires and supporting the Cath Lab team in achieving high standards of patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must have relevant certifications and a completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program. Experience in procedural areas is preferred. Additionally, candidates must possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Bonus Points:
Candidates with current Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training prior to providing patient care will be given preference. Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
