Position Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a crucial role in preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures in a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, providing position and care as needed
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, contributing to the orientation of new staff
- Utilizing downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager
Qualifications and Education:
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred. Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS. Basic Life Support training required, with Advanced Life Support certification to be achieved within six months of hire.
