The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join its team. This individual will play a vital role in the cardiovascular program, preparing and providing care during procedures while ensuring a sterile environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures;
- Identifying and assessing patient condition;
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment;
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students;
- Participating in the orientation of new staff; and
- Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program;
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred;
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS;
- Basic Life Support certification;
- Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire.
